Visas are required for all foreigners traveling to Russia. It is impossible to obtain a Russian visa upon arrival into the country. Finalize your visa formalities in advance of your trip at the Russian Consulate.

SG Tours is here to assist you in obtaining a tourist visa. We are a licensed tour operator with the Reference Number granted by the Ministry for Foreign Affairs of Russia.

This allows us to provide you with the papers required: a Confirmation Letter and a Voucher.

Both papers will be faxed to you provided we arrange your tour package.

Once you have both papers from us, you are free to submit them to a nearest Russian Consulate along with the below papers:

• Original passport with expiry date of at least 6 months ahead of the scheduled entry date
• 1 passport photo (please check if required more)
• Completed visa application form
• Copy of your travel insurance policy (on Consulates request)
• Copy of airline or other tickets (on Consulates request)
• Consular fee

Important

Once you obtain a visa, make sure all its data are correct. Clerical errors and misprints sometimes occur. All corrections should be made before a tour commencement to avoid problems with Russian border control.

Your visa is valid for specific dates of your planned entry and departure. There is no way to extend a tourist visa when in Russia. You are strongly recommended to exit Russia on the date of a tour termination indicated in your visa. If you overstay visas validity, even for one day, your visa is considered expired and Russian border officials normally charge fines.

Neither can you enter Russia prior to a date of your tour.
